Marcus Hernandez
President & Principal Advisor
Marcus grew up on a small farm in California, where he left as a late teenager and moved to British Columbia to chase his dream of being a hockey player. Marcus played hockey all over North America and eventually played NCAA collegiate hockey at Buffalo State. While there, he studied business and finance. Marcus is married to his wife Marissa and they have four children Stella, Scarlet, Marcus, and John. Out of the office, Marcus spends his time with his busy family, working around the house, playing golf, and still plays men’s league hockey with his friends. Marcus and Marissa are very involved with a multinational nonprofit, Foundation Fuente De Amor, mostly doing work in the Dominican Republic serving underprivileged families providing education, school supplies, medical support, and food support with a strong Christian message. Marcus serves as the president of the Fuente de Amor.
Leah Richardson
Paraplanner
Leah joined the team as a Client Service Associate and is currently enrolled in the CFP Board Registered Program at the College for Financial Planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kent State University. Her love of economics and data analysis sparked an interest in the world of finance. Beyond the numbers, she is passionate about serving others and making an impact in their lives by helping them accomplish their financial goals. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, she enjoys being rooted in the community here. Outside of work, her time is spent volunteering in local ministry, playing rec league hockey, and learning new things.
